Welcome to the Fulbrook Parish Website

A website for the parishioners of the village of Fulbrook, West Oxfordshire.

This site is run by the Parish Council for the benefit of the residents of Fulbrook. Its purpose is to act as an electronic notice board for the village, on which the news and events of the village can be posted and viewed by all.

CORONAVIRUS (COVID -19)

Message from the Parish Council

You would have received through your door a note from Fulbrook Parish Council asking if you are likely to need help and support in the present ‘lockdown’ situation we find ourselves in as we protect ourselves and others from spreading the virus. We also asked for volunteers to step forward with offers of help. As a result of your responses, we now have a database of some 30 volunteers who are willing to help with a range of activities from shopping/ picking up prescriptions from Burford, to just keeping in touch through friendly phone calls. We also have a (smaller) database of those who self-reported as needing help and assistance. On top of that, neighbours have sprung into action and are helping as a matter of course. The system appears to be working but we would be very interested to know of any further concerns you may have.

There are regular informal updates on the Fulbrook Village Facebook page (for example about how local businesses are operating delivery of essential supplies etc.). In the meantime, please use only official sources (central and local government, NHS England) for advice about how to conduct ourselves during this troubling time.
